Infant Feeding Alliance is a movement of parents and allies from across the UK. We call for compassion, autonomy and safety in infant feeding policy and practice.
The goal of increasing breastfeeding rates currently dictates infant feeding policy and practice in the UK. Instead, we want our public services to adopt an approach to infant feeding that serves the needs of individual families and seeks to see them thrive.
To this end, we want compassion for families to be the heart and soul of infant feeding care. Loving parents empowered with balanced, scientifically accurate information are the best people to decide how to feed their babies.
